After a lengthy break from the Insomniac tour, nimrod was released which is personally my favourite Green Day album. Nimrod contained such a great variety of music such as the heavy Platypus, to the beautiful ballad Good Riddance which was nearly left off the record because of its softness, to the quirky King for a Day. Of this album I comes most of my favourite Green Day songs: Worry Rock, Haushinka and Good Riddance. However nimrod did not do as well as its predecessors but for any Green Day fan, this is a must.
