With the rapid success of the first single Minority, it was expected that this record would be massive but with a leak on P2P Napster, people were shocked. The former punk rock success of Green Day had changed into a more experimental and emotional band with songs such as the soft Macy's Day Parade and plain weird Misery. Rumour is that Jackass is written about Blink 182 but I don't think this is true. This record would tear Green Day fans into half with some loving it and some despising it.
